Hi, I'm Teacher Mae from the Philippines!

I have been a teacher for over 7 years
I have acquired a TEFL certificate or Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

My expertise in teaching is both for adults and young learners.
I am a mom of two adorable kids!
I am also their teacher at home that makes it more fun to teach young learners because I treat my students as my kids too!

And I enjoy having free talk conversations with topics about food, travel, education and anything interesting to the students.

Teaching English is one of the things I enjoy the most. It gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and be able to know the culture of others, because I believe that building a strong connection to the students is one of the keys to keep the lesson interesting to them.

It's not only about grammar or making better sentences but also about chances to speak up and be heard by others. Everyone can learn English and speak English with!
My goal is to help my students achieve their greatest potentials to speak the English Language with confidence anywhere in the world!

As a tutor I ensures that the student gets the basics of the subject and spends time with the student to entertain questions, and also makes recommendations to the students in regards to textbooks and other relevant materials needed for a well-rounded tutorial class. Private tutors tend to also follow up the students to know how well they are responding or following the teachings. Read less
