Guten Tag! My name is Antonia, and I am a native German speaker. I have more than 7 years of tutoring experience in English and German. As a language teaching volunteer, I taught refugee students in Germany for over 3 years.

My approach is teaching vocabulary and conversational German before getting into grammar. As soon as my students have achieved a steady base of conversational language skills, we will intensely focus on grammar. My aim as a tutor is to cultivate in my students a deep understanding and bolster their confidence in answering exam questions, as well as equipping them with the ability to overcome new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is grounded on the notion that learning unfolds within an atmosphere of mutual respect, wherein students are encouraged to think critically and forge new connections independently.
