As an IB teacher, I encourage inquiry-based learning, allowing students the opportunity to work through their questions and problems and gain confidence in finding solutions. I will always have a Big Question for my lessons, and students will be able to assess their own progress and see how they develop from each lesson to the next. Working closely with rubrics and criteria, I will ensure that the steps required to excel are clear and explicit, and students are given the appropriate scaffolding. Read less
