In my experience, education works best when a student can appreciate, relate, or correlate their personal passions in relation to the subject or material; in other words, finding common ground between the student and their intended education. Whether that means relating language with travel, history with a video game, or English with an extra cirricular activity, there is no greater motivator than passion and genuine interest. Read less
