Hello,

My name is Ahmed Khan. I teach for the love of knowledge and for the opportunity to share it. I have a natural ability to effectively explain complex concepts and foster an engaging environment for learning. I am patient, present, and reliable.

I provide tutoring at the high school and undergraduate levels in the following subjects: economics, math, statistics, finance, actuarial science, and business. I also assist with SATs, GMATs, and professional exams (SOA, CFA, and CSC).

As personal background, I am of Indian origin, born in England, and raised in Papua New Guinea. I have lived in Canada since 1998. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in Economics and Actuarial Science. I am also an actuary.

I look forward to working with you through your educational requirements. The goal in my teaching sessions is always to a) learn and b) appreciate what you learn.

1. Breaking down concepts into smaller pieces - more often than not, every concept is built from fundamentals.

2. Allowing students to explore alternative solutions.
